the 4th
This 4th of July was all about the essentials. Like bomb pops. I'm pretty sure I could have eaten those and hot dogs the entire day and been happy. Oh wait, I did.
Also, what says summer more than playing in the sprinklers? Even better, playing naked in the sprinklers?
Of course no 4th of July would be complete without a parade involving a fire engine.

does that child ever wear clothes? and annie looks like she's about to dive into the sprinkler.
Annie and Leah had a BLAST in the sprinklers - several times that weekend. Come to think of it, so did I.
She DOES wear clothes. Sometimes. But when we take her dress off to do water activities she always pulls her diaper off, too. Maybe I should just make her wear her swimsuit when she does that.
