I wanted to take another post to brag about how cool Brandon is. He got invited to do research for the geology department this year. He also wrote a paper that was so good, his professor said that if he edited it well, he might publish it. Oh, I can see him becoming more employable every day. It makes me happy.
What doesn't make me happy is that he has a geology field trip this weekend and I will be all alone on Friday and Saturday.

Poor Shady. But it kind of goes with the territory of employability to be gone once in awhile. Talk to Carrie about that. Congratulations to Brandon!
so i think you've mistaken cool for nerdy. but its ok nerdy is good too. have a friend over while brandon is gone, that's what i did my first night shawn was gone and i was all alone.
Employable or headed for a Ph.D....
